Jacek Kruszelnicki, President

Jacek Kruszelnicki is the Founder and President of Numatica Corporation. With over 16 years of experience in the software industry, he worked with clients to identify and deliver the most innovative and effective ways to apply software technology to solve their business challenges.

Prior to founding Numatica Corporation in 1997, Jacek worked on pioneering technologies in the area of Computer Supported Collaborative Work (“groupware”) at the US Applied Research Laboratory at Bull Worldwide Information Systems. He later joined Horizon Research, a research and advanced development arm of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. In 1994, Jacek joined Workgroup Technology Corporation where he designed - and led the delivery of - WTC’s innovative process and document management (“workflow”) product.

Mr. Kruszelnicki’s technical interests focus on delivering effective, scalable and reliable e-business software. Jacek's holistic approach stresses planned software ecosystem design, risk minimization, usability and interoperability to provide outstanding value to clients. His approach philosphy and interest in the business and IT alignment correspond well with the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) high-level objectives.

Recognizing the potential of subscriber/customer self-service portals to deliver dramatic cost savings to clients, Mr. Kruszelnicki's business domain interest is focused on real-time, transactional on-line customer/partner self-service Web portal applications.

Mr. Kruszelnicki co-authored several patent-pending solutions and published numerous technical and business papers and articles ("ISource Business", "JavaWorld"). His work in the area of high-end transactional environments was acknowledged in the book "Transaction Processing" by J. Gray, A. Reuter. Jacek enjoys mentoring and public speaking (MIT, ACM WebTech Chapter, numerous client seminars). Mr. Kruszelnicki earned his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and is an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern. Jacek is member of the MIT Enterprise Forum, Association for Computing Machinery and the founder and past president of the New England BEA WebLogic User Group.
